Footwear Design

Although my life and career path have taken many twists and turns, my first creative career started here, as a Footwear Designer and Product Developer. This is just a small selection of design work, from sketches and hand-rendered drawings to spec sheets, mood boards and CADs using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. *(Click an image to amplify). Working for a supplier for several years I had the privilege to design for many fantastic high-street stores such as Schuh, Office, River Island, Topman and Aldo as well as designing ranges for our in-house brands Nanny State, Nanny State Woman and Babycham. I flew regularly to Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Japan for research and development purposes. I attended many European, industry trade shows including Bread and Butter (Barcelona), Pitti Uomo (Italy), Micam (Italy) and Lineapelle (Italy). I then moved to Italy to pursue my dream of working abroad and designed for the heritage sports brand, Spalding.

  1. Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon every day. It’s always useful to read through content from other writers and use a little something from their web sites.
